Position:  Operations Manager, Remote Posted:   06/02/2026 Position Summary The Operations Manager provides leadership and oversight of all projects within their portfolio including field operations, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient project execution while supporting CAPE's strategic objectives, client satisfaction, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities Operations & Field Execution Lead, mentor, and develop Project Delivery Managers, Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers Build and maintain qualified, project-ready teams to support client and project needs. Ensure workforce readiness, productivity monitoring, quality control, and safety compliance. Conduct regular site visits to support project performance and resolve operational issues. Implement process improvements and lessons learned to drive operational excellence. Support staffing, training, performance management, and workforce planning. Business Development & Project Support Support proposal development and field execution planning. Participate in bid reviews and strategic pursuits. Serve as Project/Program Manager on key or complex opportunities when needed. Strengthening client relationships throughout project interactions. Strategic Leadership Lead operational excellence initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Support division and corporate strategic goals and initiatives. Financial Management Partner with Project Controls to monitor project financial performance. Support achievement of project gross margin, budget, and productivity goals. Leadership & Culture Conduct performance reviews and support employee development. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and timekeeping requirements. Salary Up to $200K annually commensurate with experience Travel Up to 40%-50% annually Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Science, Construction Management, Business, or a related field. Experience 20+ years of construction management, engineering, or related technical experience. 10+ years of supervisory or management experience. Experience with Primavera scheduling software preferred. Certifications Professional registration (PE, PG, PMP, or equivalent) preferred. OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training or equivalent. USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
