    JOB POSITION ROLE:  

    Lead the Company’s efforts in expanding Federal client’s business relationship by identifying new business opportunities; growing new and existing client relationships that provide profitable sales for the Company; and tracking funding, information and intelligence within the Federal market to align the Company for current and future opportunities. The Federal Program Manager will support CAPE’s sales operations from discovery to capture while providing post RFP support on bids & proposals. 

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensure CAPE builds and maintains relationships with existing assigned clients and strategic partners.
    • Support the strategic account management process for assigned clients and ensure client specific items (i.e., hot buttons and lessons learned) are documented and clearly communicated to proposal and project teams.
    • As determined by CAPE leadership, nurture new clients that purchase CAPE’s services.
    • Identify and develop leads for assigned clients and markets.
    • Integrate leads into CAPE’s business process. 
    • Lead, support, and/or author the development of capture plans.
    • Develop strategies and tactics to achieve RFP capture.
    • Lead, support, and/or author the development of management or technical approaches.
    • Support the development of pricing strategies to drive to low bid while maintaining corporate gross margin and profit goals.
    • Recurring check-ins with assigned clients on CAPE’s performance. Promptly identify and initiate early intervention and mitigation of any issues/concerns with the client.
    • Lead or actively participate in CAPE’s strategic growth initiative.
    • As required, actively participate in and support Joint Ventures as a member of the Board of Controls.
    • Participate in continuous performance management (CPM) meetings with direct reports to identify potential areas of professional development as well as deficiencies and plans for improvement.

    MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
    An associate degree, Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a related field; ten (10) years of experience in the assigned market will be considered in lieu of a degree.

     

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:

    15 years of experience in the federal sector in the execution of construction, environmental remediation/compliance, engineering, contingency, public works or technical related services.

     

    REQUIRED OUTSIDE TRAINING/CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS FOR THIS POSITION:

    None.
