This person will provide expertise in geology, hydrogeology, GIS, chemistry, drafting, environmental engineering, technical writing, and/or data management. This role is also responsible for leading complex field activities and learning and operating field equipment including environmental survey, sampling, and monitoring equipment (PID, GPS, Landfill Gas monitor, Gamma meter, groundwater/soil/air sampling equipment). Additional tasks may include writing and reviewing technical plans and reports, preparation of graphs, statistical analyses, scaled 2/3D drawings, review of laboratory sample results, support of end-to-end geo-data management, collection/analysis/interpretation of field and lab data, lithologic logging, soil-boring installation, monitoring well construction/destruction, environmental sampling, field team management, and project scheduling. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION: Three years professional experience in environmental remediation and/or consulting. A minimum of two (2) years in the Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) field to include working knowledge of environmental regulations such as Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA). Experience must include study, design and construction support of environmental projects.
